LAB SA is proud of its accreditation with the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA). Through the rigorous accreditation process and regular assessments LAB SA has demonstrated that it is competent to perform a range of testing and has been formally recognised as being able to do so.
Through the accreditation process we have been able to demonstrate compliance with a systems approach covering all aspects of the businesses operation to the International Standard AS/IEC 17025: General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories rather than just being able to demonstrate our technical competence. Through the NATA accreditation process our clients can be absolutely assured of the integrity of the results reported to them and the processes undertaken to achieve these results.
NATA accreditation benefits LAB SA by allowing us to determine whether we are performing our work correctly and to appropriate standards, and provides a clear benchmark for us to maintain testing and reporting competence. By being part of the NATA accreditation process we receive independent technical evaluation which provides an indication of our performance. Regular NATA assessments check all aspects of our operations related to the ability to consistently produce accurate and dependable data.
Many high level construction projects and government contracts specify independent NATA accreditation facilities and we are perfectly placed to provide this service to the market.
